“Anyone can be great. Because anyone can serve.” -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today is the yearly Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. It is a day that commemorates Dr. King’s life and legacy. The important effort is focused on promoting year-round volunteer service and civic engagement.

Much of my greatest professional success has come as a result of my commitment to volunteerism, including my work for two decades as co-founder of the nationally recognized, RicStar’s Camp – Judy Winter.

Volunteers often create powerful and valuable change. I know that firsthand. Volunteering rocks! If you volunteer your time for a worthy cause, thank you!

You make a difference.
