Today is World Autism Awareness Day.

It is an annual day of recognition when we honor the more than five-million Americans living with Autism by committing ourselves to improving access to valuable resources and acceptance for all, while also celebrating the rich achievements of those who are neurodiverse.

As we work to realize such gains and provide brighter futures for all, we should also work for autism acceptance not just today, but every day of the year, including for the 1 in 44 children living with autism.

It is well worth your time and mine.

Do you have a family member with autism? Are you neurodiverse?
