Sticking with neutrals for Sassy Fashionista, seasonal-transition dressing again this week.

This time, the focus is on all things brown.

With a little yellow accent to brighten things up a bit.

The weather is still very unpredictable, and even with April finally here, the temps have been more chilly than springlike.

That means layers are still the go to for me.

How about you?

The pants are part of my recent obsession with all things Athleta.com, and I love the color!

I also love how their pants fit so comfortably. They are a great choice for both casual and business purposes.

The brown top is a recent and affordable FreePeople.com grab, and the lovely and large quartz necklace was scored at a local art fair last summer.

The skinny belt is a relatively recent purchase and something I was really lacking in my wardrobe, while the lined, faux-leather coat with the surprise bright-yellow lining from FreePeople.com was a splurge from fall. I actually forgot I had it until I went looking in my closet for consignment stuff.

Pays to shop home-closets first.

But if you visit this page, you already know I have an obsession with beautiful coats. I love that you can dress casually and still up your fashion game simply by adding outwear.

I do it often, especially since I’m traveling again these days.

Shades of brown, high/low items and that splash of yellow make for a simple and stylish Sassy Fashionista on this cool early-spring Monday.

Simple put It works. It’s easy peasy fashion at its best.

How important is comfort and easy fashion to you?
