Yeah. I know it’s still sloppy and cold, and all that cruddy weather jazz right now.
But February (one more day) is exactly when I start getting excited about spring fashion and start switching out my closet.
Here’s my first purchase for the upcoming season.
Yup. It’s another coat.
But it’s so much more than that!
This one is a classic and incredibly stylish spring beauty that will bridge the upcoming seasons during unpredictable weather well.
It’s a keeper from Khloe Kardashian’s brand and labeled, the Good American Car Coat in grey. The fabric is a bit like a soft jersey.
It’s full length, which I love, oversized (I sized down to a small from M/L for a perfect fit). It’s double breasted, has pockets, and a back slit to make walking that much easier. At $259, it’s clearly an investment piece, and I had to think long and hard before purchasing it. But given the quality and classic cut, I think it would cost much more than that at a higher-end fashion label. It looks more expensive than it is, and I think it will hold up well. Worth the price.
It’s one of those rare pieces that I truly get excited about after I order it and it meets/exceeds my fashion expectations. This is a coat I will wear on repeat forever. Price per wear will pay for itself.
I love it!
It is a bit heavy, so don’t plan on it as your spring/summer go-to coat when high temps and stifling humidity return. I’ve got lots of professional travel coming up this year that I want to look fab for in various climates, and this piece is traveling with me whenever possible.
I expect it to sell out.
I could be wrong. But this Sassy Fashionista is glad she scored this fab find early.
