Don’t know about you, but where this Sassy Fashionista lives, summer has rudely made its seasonal arrival with stifling heat, tropical humidity, and those don’t-go-outside-or-you’ll-die weather alerts.
Just kidding!
Sort of.
One of the reasons summer is not my favorite season is the kind of endless and extreme steamy weather that makes me both uncomfortable, sweaty, and makes it hard to dress for. Or breathe.
Can’t exactly run around town totally naked…
Not a good look.
Instead, I try to stay classy and fashionable wearing pieces that don’t make me suffer more than the temps already do.
For me, that often means a cute little pullover dress.
Easy peasy.
A frock that will let the breeze or ac in easily. Which is why I chose to have a full-body look here, rather than add a belt and cinch my waist tight. Too stinkin’ hot!
I got this little dress darling from Anthropologie.com earlier in the season.
I liked it so much, that I bought it in three colors: brown, green and tan. Last time I checked, you could still get it in a couple of other colors.
I could spend my summer in these dresses wearing my beloved Birkenstocks, and I’d be good until fall.
My favorite season of all.
But I will gush more about that later in the summer.
