It’s that time of year when it can be hard to know how to dress.

Morning can be chilly, but still humid.

While humidity and chill often give way to beautiful, warm and sunny afternoons.

Before the chill of evening time and shorter days return again at dusk.

This week’s Sassy Fashionista outfit reflects this mixed-up weather time.

It’s a mix of old and new. High end and not pricey at all, and some unforgotten treasures from my closet.

All designed for ease of dressing, when the best that you can to look somewhat professional and put together is to mix layers you can easily shed when you begin to sweat in response to ever-changing weather patterns.

Not a great fashion look.

Here’s what I’ve done.

The cool, casual, lightweight shirt is from amazon.com. It comes in a rainbow of beautiful colors, and I like this one so much, I’ve ordered more. It’s perfect for when you need a little cover, but it’s still too sticky and hot for warmer sweatshirts and sweaters.

I discovered the shirt because I follow www.blondebedhead.com. Its influencer recommended this beach coverup piece as part of her recent amazon haul. It’s not the first time I’ve benefitted from BB’s terrific and affordable suggestions.

I’ve paired this functional shirt (it’s not just for the beach) from Bsubsearch Women’s 2023 Swimsuit Coverup for $28.99 plus tax, with comfy and stylish dark green (great for fall) harem pants with fun pockets from Free People. Purchased last year.

A simple black tank, some fav jewels, well-loved dusty-rose sandals purchased from Anthro last year, and a new thin brown belt with gold hardware from Express, complete my Casual-Monday look.

All in all, another seasonal Sassy Fashionista twist that works. Affordable, too.

For me, anyway, and I guess that’s what matters most.

I bought the sassy sunflowers for $10. They make me happy, too.

What are your favorite comfy and stylish pieces to cope with the uncertain weather of late summer and early fall?
