One of the sure signs that spring gardening has arrived at my house, are my regular trips to local garden centers to get my floral fixes.

My Gardening Moments posts are back for real now!!

I definitely indulge there. Usually, fill up the back of my car, too, while feeling especially satisfied with myself and all my delightful finds.

Here are just a few images of some of the new garden babies that I have adopted during the past week or two. I’m also still carefully checking nightly forecasts for the need to protect these sweeties from any mid-May frost.

As I cover each tender shoot and petal and tuck them in on chilly evenings, I always talk to the plants sweetly, too. I think they like that.

Oh, how I adore gardening in May, when the early trees bloom, the birdies sing sweet songs with passion and zest, the first bumblebees buzz loudly by my ears, and the greens of nature are so incredibly candescent and intoxicating. They glow!

It’s the healing balm that I’ve waited for patiently all winter long, and I love doing my part to add to all the seasonal beauty of nature.

It’s my prayer back.

My floral garden treks are just beginning, and all is well with my gardening soul.

How about yours?
