This week’s Sassy Fashionista is a collection of a few of the sweet spring/summer pieces I have purchased recently.
Over the past year, I have lost quite a bit of weight. Great for my health and confidence. But not so great for the wardrobe or budget.
Fact is, many things in my closet are now way too big. Not just a little. But a lot. Which means I’ve started replacing them as I donate the old.
In with new sass.
Spring/Summer is a great fashion time of year to do that.
The items featured in this post are all from new seasonal items at http://www.freepeople.com and were purchased in the last couple of months. So acquiring them should be still doable.

Unless it’s one of those items that just instantly sold out, which happens a lot with FP. At which point you can usually get on a wait list. But no guarantees.
In this batch of goodies, I’ve included a blue-striped-cotton skirt, a silky pink cami, some lightweight, deep plum cropped pants, a lovely white, silky slip, which I will use as a dress (it looks like a dress anyway), and a super cute long, white cotton dress with straps, which I’ve been on the hunt now for a while.
It fits like a dream.
Fact is, I could take a quick warm-weather vacation right now with just these items. And some Birkenstock sandals, a baseball cap, and sunglasses, of course.
I’m off to a great Sassy Fashionista start for the two seasons I have been dreaming of for weeks. They’re finally here! Well, almost.
I’m ready!
How about you?
Have you started your warm-weather shopping, yet?
Gonna be too hot and humid before we know it.
