On my Sassy Fashionista travel-to-do list is a trip to Italy.
It’s a dream long over due, and one that may have to wait just a bit longer.
But knowing that this lovely country is on my adventure list, I often keep an eye out for fashion that speaks to Italian style.

So I bought it at Anthropologie, where I actually went in the store.
That’s always a little dangerous.
Given my recent weight loss, I sized down to an XS. This sweet Maeve skirt has that kind of full skirt that can border on unflattering if you get it in a size too large.
This one fits perfectly, and I think it’s great quality. A bit pricey, but I know it will be worth the price per wear, given the special reason for buying it in the first place.
Anthro had this style in different patterns last year and they sold pretty well. My guess is the oranges will be a summer fav and will probably sell out. It’s a happy skirt, wherever you choose to wear it, and it has pockets!
After a long, dreary winter, orange and color is having a moment, too.
