This week’s Sassy Fashionista is featuring one of my favorite summer shades. Baby blue.

I admit I am feeling blue lately, in all the best ways.
In the past, blue was not in my primary color fashion palette.
But in recent months, I have found it a mood enhancer and I am increasingly drawn to the lighter shades whenever I come across them. I’m also feeling the blues in my summer garden and have increasingly picked up perennials in various shades.
Something about blue is captivating me right now.
Like this lovely, summery tulle skirt that I unexpectedly came across on a sidewalk retail display in Frankfort, Michigan yesterday. I also grabbed a Baby Blue pair of Big Buckle Birkenstocks a couple of weeks ago. Excited about that find, too.

Hubby and I made a stop on the way to Sleeping Bears Dunes National Lakeshore in Empire (worth the trip!!) to grab a quit lunch to help fuel our planned bike ride.
I grabbed it as soon as I spotted this fashion gem. The Tulle Midi Skirt Baby Blue in medium (elastic waist) is from www.BlueIvy.com.https://www.BlueIvy.com. The color got my attention first. It looked like a piece I would take on my next trip to Paris, which I hope is sooner rather than later.
It’s so feminine and lovely.. This Sassy Fashionista couldn’t resist. It didn’t hurt that it was on sale for $32.00 plus tax. Lunch could wait for a few more minutes. I ducked into the sweet little shop and quickly made it mine.
I had to have it.
