If you visit the Sassy Fashionista often, you know that I’m not a huge fan of jeans, especially in the summertime when I find them too warm and uncomfortable to wear.
That said, this week I scored a cool pair at Anthropologie that I’m totally in love with.
They are called the Pilcro Mid-Rise Culottes, and I’m here for this pair.
They are shorter, skirt like, and the fabric is neither too heavy nor too light. I’ve dressed them up here with a super-cute, elevated tank top for $58 that I really like, also from Anthropologie. I think it’s pretty darn cute and sassy.
At $148, these culottes are on the pricier side. But because I have such trouble finding jeans that fit well that I even want to wear, I was okay with splurging a bit on these.
Very comfy; but run a bit small. I got my usual size because I’m pretty sure they will stretch out a bit. But if you want a more relaxed look and fit, I suggest sizing up one size.
I bought them in store, but I checked online at Anthropologie.com and they are selling fast. My guess is they will sell out. So if you want ’em, too, go get ’em sooner rather than later.
I’ll be wearing these a lot this summer, both dressed up and more casually. That means good price per wear, always a good thing.
When it comes to jeans, these culottes are a winner.
