This week’s Sassy Fashionista features a floral-print dress on a simple black and white, linen-blend fabric that seems to be pretty wrinkle free. I love it!
It’s a clean, sophisticated, fresh Anthropologie.com purchase that fits like a glove.
But that’s because I sized up. I usually buy a medium. I got a large. Be aware. this dress is more of a slim fit and the bust runs a bit small, which is why I sized up. Take that into account when you are ready to buy. It has no pockets because they would most likely mess up the sleek look and bulk things up in an unflattering way around the hips.
Never a good look.
I was on the fence about keeping it, in part, because at $198, it was pretty pricey. The good news for you is that it is now on sale. It’s also available in black with white flowers. I added a favorite black belt from my closet as my finishing touch, and a sleek black tank-like sports bra.
When it comes to summer dresses, I think this one is a stand out. It can stand alone. You can dress it up or put on some sandals or Birkies, add a chunky, summer sweater or some light pearls or simple gold jewelry. It could be a keeper for work and multiple events.
I think by the time summer is over, this one will have justified my initial cost, which makes this Sassy Fashionista very fashion happy.
